Selangor MB to meet Elizabeth Wong

Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim will meet exco member Elizabeth Wong for a discussion this week.
In disclosing this, Khalid said he was unaware of Wong’s latest decision on her position in the state government.
“We are also waiting for a report from the police,” Khalid told a press conference after launching a seminar for the Sri Andalas state assembly constituency here on Sunday.
Wong, who is Bukit Lanjan assemblyman, is on long leave after scandalous photographs of her were distributed to several media organisations.
She had also tendered her resignation as state exco member and assemblyman, stating that it was in the best interest of PKR and the Pakatan Rakyat-ruling coalition in Selangor.
However, Bukit Lanjan constituents are demanding that Wong remains in her position and continue serving them instead of relinquishing her post.
When asked what would be discussed and if he would persuade her to stay on, Khalid said it was private matter.
On another matter, Khalid said the state might consider buying over the controversial Klang Sentral bus terminal from its developer NPO Sdn Bhd.
Khalid said the developer would only be paid the cost value if the purchase went through adding that the state government did not want the developer to profit from the sale.
The Klang Sentral terminal, which is about 11.6km from Klang town, is on the verge of becoming a white elephant due to its location.
